Terms & Conditions
Rates and Price Variations
We reserve the right to increase our rates in the event of associated cost increases.
Rates quoted are appropriate to the particular product or service at the time of quoting and may change subsequently between booking and occupancy. Guests who can provide evidence of an earlier agreed booking cost, (receipt or letter) will be charged at the earlier rate. All prices are subject to availability and can be withdrawn or varied without notice.
No accommodation is considered to be confirmed without a minimum deposit of 25%. If this is not received at the time of a subsequent enquiry with deposit, it will be a case of “first in with deposit will be the confirmed guest”.
Deposits can be accepted by cash, credit card or money order. Cheques will be accepted once they are cleared and should thus not be used outside 30 days of occupancy.
This is due at the time of arrival unless subsequent services are incurred during the stay. In such instances full payment must be received prior to departure.
Standard Cancellation Policy
Bookings cancelled within 14 days will not receive a refund of deposit, except under uncontrollable circumstances. In such cases an administration fee of $10.00 will be retained.
Fully paid bookings cancelled within 14 days will be refunded for the full amount, less the deposit and the 10% administration fee.
There will be no refund for cancellations within one week of occupancy.
These will be charged at the rate of $30.00 per hour, where suites or cottages are left in an untidy and dirty condition. Such fees are most likely to occur where celebrating parties fail to clean up prior to attending a function and the accommodation is needed by other guests after this function.
This will be as specified in our brochure or on the website unless subsequent changes are made in consultation between management and guests. We do reserve the right to offer alternate accommodation, should the operator inadvertently over book or for other unforeseen circumstances.
Check In / Check Out Times
Check in usually after 12.00pm.
Check out is between 10.00 and 10.30am. Special arrangements can sometimes be made.
Furniture and Furnishings
This is not to be rearranged, except for agreed photography, and should be restored to original position by the time of departure.
All breakages are to be reported and paid for. Keys must be returned to the office on departure.
Please check that gas cylinders are turned off and BBQ controls are in the “off” position, after cooking on the BBQ.
All animals and plants at Kirnicama are protected.
Guests who disregard this policy will be asked to pay for any loss or damage and can be asked to vacate early.
All guests are required to turn off all lights, fans and air-conditioning, when leaving their suites or cottages for more than an hour. Management & staff have the right to enter the accommodation and turn off such power sources, in the event of non compliance. Management staff will be happy to turn on the outside lights and air conditioning, if needed, half an hour before the expected return time, when advised by their guests.
Please place bottles, cartons and paper in the recycling bin and all other garbage in the other bin provided before departure.
